2021: Year of Health and Care Workers

2021 has been named the International Year of Health and Care Workers by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

This global recognition is designed to highlight the dedication and sacrifice of millions of health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ramsay is joining the celebration to thank our Australian staff for their commitment to being ‘people who care for people’.

Celebrating Ramsay Australia’s Health and Care Workers:

Every day, more than 30,000 Ramsay Australia employees work to improve the lives of others. From our nurses, pharmacists and allied health workers to kitchen staff, cleaners and procurement teams, looking after people is at the forefront of everyone’s mind.

Ramsay employees have played a vital role in caring for our community during the pandemic, and we want to say thank you.

Ramsay is undertaking a 12-month campaign to acknowledge and thank its workforce across hospitals, clinics, day surgeries, pharmacies and corporate areas. We will profile one employee every week for the entire year.

We want to share their motivations, learn what they love about their role, and what advice they would give to those considering a future in health care.
