Dr Lidder is an Orthopaedic Surgeon. His Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons and Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK was completed in 2017.
He has undertaken postgraduate training in Melbourne and Baltimore (USA). These fellowships were in complex lower limb arthroplasty, pelvic and acetabular trauma and trauma surgery. Whilst on fellowship in Australia he proceeded undertake recognition as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Dr Lidder holds a public appointment at The Royal Melbourne Hospital where he performs trauma and elective surgery. He is also involved in medical student and fellow training through The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The University of Melbourne. In addition to this, He is the Victorian member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association assessment team for overseas trained doctors.
