Mr Surjit Lidder has dual specialist recognition in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery from both Australia and the UK. Mr Lidder shares his time between Albury, Bright and Melbourne. He has an interest in primary and revision total hip and knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, meniscal repair, ACL reconstruction, pelvic and acetabular trauma, sacroiliac joint fusion, periprosthetic fractures, and the management of complex fractures involving the upper and lower limbs, foot and ankle. He also treats a broad range of sports-related injuries.

Mr Surjit Lidder has dual specialist recognition in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery from both Australia and the UK and is primarily based in Melbourne. He completed his specialty training in Orthopaedic Surgery, gaining Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons in 2017. He concurrently sat and was awarded membership to the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK.
He has undertaken postgraduate sub-specialty training in Melbourne and Baltimore (USA). These fellowships were in complex lower limb arthroplasty, pelvic and acetabular trauma and trauma surgery. Whilst on fellowship in Australia, Surjit proceeded to undertake specialist recognition in Australia and is now a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association.
He holds a public appointment at The Royal Melbourne Hospital where he performs trauma and elective surgery. He is also involved in medical student and specialty training through The RMH and The University of Melbourne.
