Dr. Prudence is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist based in Coffs Harbour with expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of digestive disorders including luminal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease. Dr Prudence holds a public appointment at Coffs Harbour Hospital and works privately through Baringa Private Hospital. He is proficient in performing a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and capsule endoscopy.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Prudence is actively engaged in cutting-edge research, contributing to advancements in gastroenterology and hepatology. He has a particular interest in the management of hepatocellular carcinoma, and a strong focus on the early detection, linkage to care, and intervention strategies for viral hepatitis and metabolic-associated liver disease. His dedication to advancing knowledge in these fields is reflected in his active involvement in research, with his findings being presented at prestigious international conferences, including the annual meetings of the AASLD, EASL, and AGW.
