Dr Kasra Raufian is a General Surgeon with interests in gastrointestinal endoscopy and hernia, breast, thyroid, parathyroid and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr Kasra Raufian completed his medical training in Iran and graduated with a MD degree in 2006. Dr Raufian obtained his General Surgery Board Certificate in 2013 and worked as a Consultant Surgeon, before relocating to Australia in 2016. Dr Raufian continued his training in Australia and completed a year of sub-specialised training in Breast/Endocrine and Melanoma Surgery as well as three years of advanced Laparoscopic and Hernia surgery training. He achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2019.

Dr Raufian was appointed as a Consultant General Surgeon at Redcliffe Hospital and has recently joined Northside General Surgeons, a leading General Surgery Practice in the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region. He is an accredited Colonoscopist with the Gastroenterology Society of Australia (GESA) and a member of BreastSurg ANZ society.

Dr Raufian takes pride being known as a passionate, caring person who positively collaborates and interacts with his patients in a professional and friendly manner. He is fluent in Persian and English.
