Dr Angela Robson is a Queensland trained specialist general surgeon with interest in breast, melanoma and general laparoscopic surgery. She undertook her primary medical degree at the University of Queensland, which she completed in 2005.
Dr Robson continued to work throughout Queensland during her surgical training, at the RBWH, TPCH, Nambour and Cairns Hospitals, obtaining her FRACS in General surgery in early 2013. Dr Robson is a member of General Surgeons Australia and the Australian Society of Breast Disease.
Dr Robson’s main surgical interests include benign and malignant breast disease as well as melanoma surgery. Dr Robson actively participates in local Multi-disciplinary Team Meetings for both conditions. Dr Robson is supported in her practice by breast physician, Dr Sue Fraser.
Angela also works part-time as a staff specialist in general surgery at the Cairns Hospital, where she participates in teaching surgical trainees, junior doctors and medical students. Dr Robson is the current supervisor of general surgical trainees at the Cairns Hospital, and sits on the GSA State Training Committee.
Dr Robson can offer a broad range of general surgical procedures and shares her private practice with her husband Dr Nathan Brunott, a fellow general surgeon. Dr Robson also provides private outreach clinics to the Tablelands on a fortnightly basis.

Outside of medicine she enjoys the great outdoors, travelling, as well as raising her three children.
