Psycho-oncology Service

I closed my books to new referrals several years ago because I moved into medicolegal work. I am now planning to expand my clinical work by developing a psycho-oncology practice at Northside Cremorne Clinic. I invite referrals of patients who are living with cancer who might need help with:

• Managing the emotional impact of the diagnosis and treatment of their malignancy
• The relapse of pre-existing psychiatric disorders related to cancer diagnosis and treatment
• The diagnosis and management of organic brain disorders related to cerebral metastases, treatment side-effects and co-morbid neurodegenerative disorders
• Involvement of families and their own need for understanding and support through the treatment and possibly the death of loved ones
• Where appropriate, supportive group therapy for patients and their families
