Dr Tobin is a Haemato-Oncologist and Clinician-Scientist working at Brisbane Blood Specialists at Greenslopes Hospital, as a Staff Specialist Haematologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is a Senior Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Queensland. After completing his medical degree at the Australian National University, he undertook his specialist physician training across the Mater Hospital, Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He completed a PhD focused on ‘immune therapies in non-Hodgkin lymphoma’ at the University of Queensland and went on to pursue a Lymphoma Fellowship at the globally renowned MD Anderson Cancer Centre in Houston, Texas. He currently holds leadership positions in national working groups, developing national consensus statements for the management of lymphoma.

As a clinician working across public, private and academic hospital environments, Dr Tobin works with partners in General Practice to provide access to  information, patient support, treatment options and clinical trials available for our shared patients.
