Dr Chu is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing all areas of the specialty. He completed his dental and medical qualifications in Melbourne and Adelaide before completing his surgical training in Queensland.

During advanced surgical training rotation through most of the major tertiary hospitals in Queensland, Dr Chu achieved and obtained the qualification of FRACDS (OMS) and is registered as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon with both the Australian Dental Board and Australian Medical Board (AHPRA). He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS).

Dr Chu provides the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and has a strong philosophy in continual education, latest surgical innovations and commitment in providing the highest quality of surgical care for his patients.

Dr Chu has a number of public appointments as a specialist surgeon at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Brisbane Dental Hospitals. He is also an appointed senior lecturer with the School of Medicine, University of Queensland.
