Dr. Matthew Jones is a dedicated Specialist Plastic Surgeon offering consultative services in skin cancer and general plastic surgery. His primary focus lies in various aspects of hand surgery, encompassing adult and pediatric hand trauma, skin lesions, and skin cancer. Additionally, Dr. Jones has a keen interest in facial and breast aesthetics surgery. He is a member of the Western Australia Kirkbride Melanoma Service (WAKAMS). Dr. Jones relocated to Perth from the UK, and he is passionate about delivering excellent care. His commitment is evident in ensuring timely consultations, conducting relevant investigations, and formulating well-judged treatment plans.

Background & Training

Dr. Jones completed his medical training at the University of Bristol, UK. Upon moving to Australia, he pursued formal plastic surgery training, achieving his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2019. To further enrich his skills and knowledge, Dr. Jones undertook fellowships in Europe and the United Kingdom. He spent six months working with Enrico Robotti, the past president of the European Rhinoplasty Society in Bergamo, Italy. Following this, he engaged in fellowships at two of the largest pediatric hospitals in the UK: Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. Dr. Jones concluded his training with an aesthetic surgery fellowship at Weymouth Hospital and Harley Street clinics in London, UK, both renowned on a global scale. His diverse training background equips him to provide comprehensive and specialized care in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
