Dr Susan Hawes is a general surgeon who has also undergone advanced training in breast surgery. She was born on the Gold Coast and trained in Queensland. After completing her general surgical training, Susan pursued subspecialty experience in breast cancer and reconstructive surgery at Canberra hospital and leading oncology hospital Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney through BreastSurgANZ.  

Susan’s interests include oncoplastic breast surgery and laparoscopic surgery. She looks forward to establishing long lasting professional relationships with other healthcare providers and her patients.

Susan is committed to delivering the best care possible to all surgical patients under her care.

Susan is a mother of two young children and enjoys gardening and art.
