Monique is warm, thoughtful and empathic Clinical Psychologist. Monique places emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, understanding that taking the first step towards support can be overwhelming. Monique approaches her practice through a holistic and trauma informed lens, reflecting compassionately with you on the impact that life experiences may be having and how, together, we can begin to understand and shift patterns of relating.

Monique has worked in various settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health, community based mental health and private practice. Monique has experience supporting people experiencing a range of psychological distress including anxiety disorders, mood disorders including bipolar, eating disorders, trauma, relationship and parenting stress and adjustment disorders.

Monique is trained in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition, Monique integrates therapeutic frameworks, such as mindfulness, attachment and schema informed therapy.
