Dr Zhang graduated from the University of New South Wales and subsequently completed training in tertiary hospitals across Sydney (St George Hospital and Liverpool Hospital). Following this, she went on to complete further training in EUS, ERCP and other advanced endoscopic techniques including POEM and ESD at both Liverpool Hospital Sydney and Johns Hopkins Hospital in the United States. She has a special interest in interventional endoscopy including EUS, ERCP, balloon enteroscopy. She has published extensively in peer reviewed journals. Dr Zhang is a Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist and runs the Endoscopic Ultrasound service at St George Public Hospital. She performs procedures at St George Public Hospital and St George Private Hospital.
