After completing her Bachelor Medical Sciences, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2010 from the University of Sydney, Rue completed her surgical training via Royal Prince Alfred and Concord Hospitals. She completed a Master of Surgery (Colorectal Surgery) through University of Sydney and obtained her fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2021. She completed a fellowship in advanced General Surgery and Peritonectomy at St George Hospital and is now a Specialist General Surgeon with experience in Peritonectomy Surgery working at St George Public and Private Hospitals.
Throughout her career, Rue has demonstrated a commitment to providing the highest quality care to patients. She has a deep understanding of the complex and often challenging nature of surgical procedures and is skilled at working with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that meet their individual needs. She provides a full spectrum of general surgery including endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy and colonoscopy), laparoscopic and open techniques for general surgical procedures, such as hernias, cholecystectomy, skin lesions, and perianal disease, as well as complex oncological procedures.
