Dr Arthur Vasilaras is a consultant urological surgeon based in the local area. He has a VMO appointment at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital along with appointments at Strathfield  Private Hospital, St George Private Hospital and Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. Dr Vasilaras has been in clinical practice since 2003 after completing his fellowship in Urology and Renal Transplantation in 2002.

He has established a number of clinical interests and expertise including advanced laparoscopic and robotic renal and prostate cancer surgery, laser stone and prostate surgery, genito-urinary oncology, urodynamics and general urology. He is an integral member of the Pelvic Exenteration Unit and Renal Transplant Unit at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
