Phoebe Thwaites is a Physician Gastroenterologist who combines private practice with a public. Phoebe has an interest in looking after patients with disorders of gut-brain interaction, such as irritable bowel syndrome and constipation, and enjoys managing a wide variety of general gastroenterolgoical conditions, including luminal disorders, liver diseases, iron deficiency and bowel cancer screening. Phoebe strives to deliver evidence-based, holistic care to all of her patients using a patient-centred and collaborative approach. She has recently completed her PhD exploring the role of an ingestible gas-sensing capsule in the assessment of gastrointestinal tract form and function and has an ongoing active interest in this area.
