Matthew graduated from the University of Melbourne with first class honours. He then did junior doctor training at RMH before accredited surgical training through RACS.  A further year of post fellowship training in ERCP and minimally invasive gastrointestinal and hernia surgery was then completed at University Hospital Geelong. Matthew lives locally and is passionate about training the next generation of surgeons and has taken on the role of training supervisor for North East Health Wangaratta.

Matthew has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery but offers a full range of general surgical procedures. Matthew is also ERCP accredited.
