Dr Hari Sugumar is an accomplished cardiologist with expertise in electrophysiology including ablation procedures for arrhythmia and pacemaker implantation. He graduated in medicine from the University of Melbourne in 2005 and completed physician training, specialising in cardiology at Austin Health. He then completed fellowships in procedural electrophysiology at Austin Health, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Alfred Health and overseas at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, Vancouver Island, Canada. He is finishing a PhD in electrophysiology at the University of Melbourne in the field of atrial fibrillation in heart failure, with publications in many leading heart research journals. He consults at Heidelberg Heart Centre and has hospital appointments at Warringal Private, Cabrini Malvern and Alfred Health.
