Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Luke Wang an Australian trained and accredited urologist with experience in the management of urological cancers, benign prostate enlargement, and stone disease amongst a wide range of general urological conditions.

Luke obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne. He underwent advanced urological training and gained extensive experience in large
tertiary centres across NSW, ACT and VIC. In his fellowship year, Luke underwent further training in complex uro- oncology and robotic surgery through St Vincent’s Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. In addition to clinical work, he has a passion for evidence-based medicine and is actively involved in research and teaching. Luke is the Supervisor of Training at St Vincent’s Hospital.

He was nominated for 2023 John Billings Consultant of the Year Award.

Luke welcomes both private and public referrals and is committed to seeing urgent referrals in a timely manner. He is also happy to provide phone advice to
GP’s. Luke has admitting rights to St Vincent’s Hospital and Eastern Health for public patients, and several private hospitals for private patients.

He accepts electronic referrals via Healthlink and Argus.

Outside of work Luke enjoys spending time with his young family and has a keen interest in basketball and golf.

He is also fluent in Mandarin.
