Dr Monique is a CREI (Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility) subspecialist, one of less than eighty Doctors Australia-wide who have attained this highest recognised qualification for Fertility Specialists and Reproductive Gynaecologists.

While completing her undergraduate degrees at the University of Sydney, Dr Monique worked as a scientist in the laboratory at Westmead Fertility Centre. She was selected into the Talented Student Program, through which she completed basic science research in the reproductive field.

She then trained as a Junior Doctor across Western Sydney during which time her excellent clinical skills and going the extra mile for patients and colleagues were recognised through her being awarded the Intern of the Year Prize. She has also completed a Masters in Reproductive Medicine at a High Distinction level and elevated to be a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2021.

Dr Monique completed most of her CREI subspecialty training through Westmead Fertility Centre and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, some the busiest specialist services of their kind in Australia. As the Clinical Director in training at Westmead Fertility Centre, she provided clinical expertise to assist with process improvements, innovations and new services. 

In 2022 Dr Monique established the Fertility Clinic at Blacktown Hospital, where she still works as a Fertility Specialist for Westmead Fertility Centre. She also works as a Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecologist at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

While working within Western Sydney’s major teaching hospitals, Monique shares her passion for infertility and adolescent gynaecology with medical students and junior doctors. She has been invited to present at educational events both nationally and internationally. She provides mentoring to other women in the medical profession and advocates for the health and welfare of women and children in Australia, particularly through her past role as President of the New South Wales Medical Women’s Society.

Dr Monique consults from rooms at Bella Vista and manages patients for fertility treatment through Genea Bella Vista, or Westmead Fertility Centre. She is a Gynaecological surgeon at Westmead Private Hospital and Lakeview Private Hospital.

Dr Monique is humbled by the trust that patients place in her to be a part of such a significant stage in their life. Whether it is couples planning pregnancy, or young girls navigating the ups and downs of puberty, she takes the

time to listen and respect people’s individual decisions and needs.
