Dylan looks after general paediatric surgical conditions in children ranging from premature babies to adolescents. He has particular interests in the management of paediatric solid tumours, thoracic conditions including congenital lung lesions and keyhole surgery (laparoscopy and thoracoscopy).

Dylan is a paediatric surgeon with interests in surgical oncology and thoracic surgery. He is a staff specialist at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick and a VMO at Wollongong Private Hospital.
After training in Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland he was awarded his Fellowship in Paediatric Surgery in 2015. He then travelled overseas in 2016-2018 to complete further Fellowships at Birmingham Children’s Hospital in the United Kingdom and Red Cross War Memorial Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.
Dylan has a broad paediatric surgical practice, with particular interests in paediatric solid tumours, thoracic conditions including congenital lung lesions, neonatal surgery and minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy and thoracoscopy). He is one of the few paediatric surgeons in Australia performing keyhole surgery for repair of oesophageal atresia, congenital diaphragmatic hernia and inguinal hernias.
Aside from his clinical duties, he is a Conjoint Lecturer at the UNSW, dedicating his time to teaching medical students and junior doctors. He is the current organiser of the ANZAPS Fellowship Exam Preparation Course for senior trainees in Australia and New Zealand.
Dylan enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, good food, cricket and supporting the Sydney Swans. He loves golf but rarely plays and when he does it is usually not pretty.
