Emily Price, a coding auditor and educator, found out about Ramsay’s National Scholarship Program while reading The Ramsay Way Newsletter.

“It really caught my eye because I had an idea for a clinical coding roadshow that I wanted to implement,” Emily says.

“Being awarded the $3000 Team Scholarship allowed us to develop a clinical coding roadshow, and we held four events across Sydney, Wollongong and Newcastle which were just amazing.

“It certainly has achieved what it set out to achieve, and not only myself but the whole coding team has benefited from this Ramsay initiative and the fact that they've been able to get together face-to-face finally after COVID delays to connect and learn with each other.

“I certainly think that Ramsay will receive a long-term benefit from awarding this award to the New South Wales clinical coding team and I encourage anyone with a good idea for professional development to apply in the next round.”

Emily said she felt supported and validated by Ramsay’s investment in her and her team.

“It makes me really proud to come to work and I want make Ramsay better, make the experience better for my staff, and also just to continually learn and grow in my job.”
