Dr Saleh is a Physician with an interest in Haematology and Acute/General Medicine including clotting and bleeding disorders, lymphoma, myeloma, Leukaemia and other Haematological malignancies.
Dr Saleh worked as a rural GP in New Zealand for more than 6 years and obtained his Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP and FRACGP) and Post Graduate Diploma in Community Emergency Medicine (PGDCEM) from Auckland University in New Zealand.
Dr Saleh moved to Australia to pursue Physician Training. He completed his basic Physician Training in the Alfred Health and Peninsula Health in Melbourne, and Advanced Training in General and Acute Care Medicine Monash Health in Melbourne. He moved to Sydney to complete his Advanced Haematology Training in Wollongong hospital, St George Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital. Dr Saleh obtained his dual Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in General and Acute Care Medicine as well as Clinical Haematology.
Dr Saleh adopts an evidence based and holistic approach to healthcare and facilitates GPs in managing their patients with complex and challenging medical issues in the regional health care setting.
Dr Saleh has relocated to live in Armidale with his family to be part of the local community.
He is passionate in teaching medical students and junior medical doctor.
