Dr Kapoor brings 15 years of experience in General Paediatrics, treating newborns to adolescents, to the Greenslopes’ Paeds in a pod practice. Having completed her medical training in both India and Australia, as well as additional training at Melbourne University in child and adolescent psychiatry, Dr Kapoor offers a high level of comprehensive care for patients.

Her many years of training, work and research has seen her develop a specialist focus in the following areas:

• Child behaviour and development
• Asthma
• Neonatology
• General and acute paediatrics

By studying and working across two continents and numerous regional and remote areas of Australia, Dr Kapoor adapts well to treating a range of conditions and dealing with patients from differing backgrounds. Her focus is on providing optimum care and educating families about options as required during treatment.

She has been actively involved in many areas of research, development and training of students during her time as a Paediatrician, contributing to many projects and programs, including:

• actively involved in teaching medical students, registrars and residents
• refugee health
• paediatric asthma research
• asthma clinic support
