Dr Pienaar graduated as a General Dentist from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 1999. He then completed his medical training at the University of Otago in New Zealand and completed Oral Surgery training at the University of Otago School of Dentistry obtaining a Master’s Degree with distinction in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2013.
