Dr Kaushal trained in a premiere tertiary care hospital in Delhi before migrating to Australia in 2004.  He then successfully completed a one year fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty at Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane. 

Dr Kaushal has been working as an Orthopaedic surgeon at Rockhampton Hospital since 2007, and was admitted as an Orthopaedic fellow to the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2011.

Dr Kaushal moved into private practice in June 2012 with Dr Kim Bulwinkel and Dr Wojciech Janus.  In February 2016 Dr Kaushal moved to Suite 3 at the Hillcrest Specialist Centre to expand his growing private practice.

• Joint replacement surgery with special interest in revision surgery of the hip and knee
• Orthopaedic trauma
• Foot and ankle surgery
• Knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgery

Dr Kaushal visits the Gladstone Specialist Centre and Emerald Specialist Clinic on a regular basis.  Appointments can be made by contacting Dr Kaushal's medical practice.

Dr Kaushal is prepared to accept after hours emergency referrals and also participates in KNOWN GAP for Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery.
