Clinical Practice

Dr Abraham is a Specialist Cardiologist who has a primary focus on general cardiology and provides services in multi-modal imaging which includes echo, CT, coronary angiography, cardiac MRI and nuclear cardiology. Dr Abraham consults privately at Hollywood Private Hospital and also has public appointments at Fiona Stanley Hospital and is Clinical Lead of Cardiac Radiology at Royal Perth Hospital. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Curtin University.

Background & Training

Dr. Abraham achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2006 and later moved to the University of Ottawa in Canada. While there, he completed Fellowships in Cardiac Imaging and Clinical Investigation. Subsequently, he pursued a Fellowship in Cardiac MRI at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, USA. Dr. Abraham has been fellowship trained in various cardiac specialties, including Cardiac CT, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology (including PET), and Cardiac MRI. Notably, he holds Level B certification (the highest level) in Cardiac CT in Australasia and is American Board certified in cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography. Additionally, he is credentialed to report cardiac MRI in Australia by the conjoint committee.
