Dr Sarah Blyth is a Specialist General Physician with an interest in palliatve care and a wide range of general medical conditions.  She practices at Nambour Selangor Private Hospital and available to admit inpatients and see outpatients as well as to discuss semi-urgent referrals.

Dr Blyth obtained her primary medical degree in the United Kingdom in 2003, attaining distinction in Clinical Finals, before completing Foundation training and Membership Exams for the Royal College of Physicians (UK). She obtained Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2016 and subsequently has undertaken a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Care and further qualifications in Peri-operative Medicine. In 2011 Dr Blyth was awarded an Australia Day Certificate of Achievement from the Director General for Excellence in Healthcare.

Dr Blyth is dedicated to the holistic management of people with complex medical problems, focusing not just on clinical care but also health promotion, patient empowerment and engaging patients in the planning of their individual care needs. She is well versed in the co-ordination of patients across the spectrum of inpatient and community care models and is an excellent communicator.

Outside of work, Sarah is a busy mum of two boys and enjoys the Sunshine Coast lifestyle with her husband and sons. The family can often be found at the beach, camping in the hinterland or cycling both on and off road.
