Dr Maurice Guzman is an orthopaedic surgeon with an interest in hip replacement and robotic knee replacement surgery, orthopaedic trauma, in addition to bone and soft tissue tumours. He is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and the Australian Orthopaedic Association (FAOrthA).

Educated in New South Wales, Dr Guzman graduated with Honours in a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Western Australia. He completed his orthopaedic specialist surgical training in Sydney and regional NSW.

Dr Guzman has completed specialist training in arthroscopic and reconstructive joint surgery and hip and knee replacement surgery in Australia. He later relocated to the United Kingdom to complete a fellowship at the highly prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, specialising in bone and soft tissue tumours and complex joint replacement surgery.  In addition to this, Dr Guzman completed observerships in Bologna, Florence and Pisa (Italy) to refine his knowledge and skills in the surgical management of patients with bone and soft tissue tumours.
