Dr Rohit Samuel is a cardiologist with an interest in interventional cardiology and a cardiac CT specialist. Rohit graduated from Monash University with first class honours in 2012.

He completed his basic physician training at The Alfred; and subsequently completed advanced cardiology training in Geelong, St Vincent’s and The Alfred. Rohit has also completed a Masters of Public Health and a Masters of Clinical Ultrasound; which have broadened his skills in managing chronic cardiac disease processes as well as interpreting echocardiographic imaging to assess heart structure and function.

He undertook a two-year fellowship in interventional and structural cardiology at Vancouver General Hospital; and has expertise in coronary angiography, stenting, intravascular imaging and advanced transcatheter structural interventions. During his fellowship, Rohit completed further training in cardiac CT and is an accredited cardiac CT specialist.

Rohit continues to be involved in clinical research and has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as authoring several book chapters.

Rohit has public appointments at The Alfred, Frankston Hospital and Latrobe Regional Hospital.
