Dr. Deanne began her educational journey by earning undergraduate degrees in Science and Education from The University of Melbourne and La Trobe University. She later pursued Medicine at the University of Notre Dame (Sydney and Melbourne) for her postgraduate qualification. As a young doctor, she continued her education by earning dual Masters’ degrees in Surgery and in Health Leadership and Management. Her formal urology training was conducted in Victoria, where she honed her skills in endourology, general urology, laparoscopic and open urological surgery, with a particular emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.
Beyond her foundational urological surgery training, she has undergone additional subspecialty training in Robotic Urological Surgery—Prostate, Kidney and Bladder Surgery at Stepping Hill Hospital, England. Away from her professional commitments, Dr. Deanne enjoys travelling, culinary adventures, reading, and cherishing quality moments with her partner Duncan and their two dogs, Chico and Kulfi.
