Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Alysson Wann, a medical oncologist, who has commenced treating patients at the Waverley Private Oncology and Day Infusion Centre.

Dr Alysson Wann is a FRACP qualified Australian trained medical oncologist. Alysson treats all solid organ malignancies with a special interest in breast, lung and gastrointestinal cancers. She is involved in the rapid access breast service at Waverley Breast Care.

Alysson understands that a new cancer diagnosis is concerning and commits to seeing her patients promptly. She strives to guide her patient's cancer journey with compassion and understanding while providing the latest effective treatments.

She trained at major Melbourne hospitals including Olivia Newton Cancer Centre where she completed her fellowship in breast and gastrointestinal cancers. She went on to complete her Masters degree in Public Health, specialising in health in the ageing population. She continues to be involved in medical research as an internationally published researcher and is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Melbourne Medical School.
