Dr David Bradshaw is a Sydney trained orthopaedic surgeon with an interest in hand and wrist surgery. After completing his medical degree with Honours at the University of Sydney, he completed his specialist orthopaedic training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
Dr Bradshaw completed advanced training in hand, wrist and peripheral microsurgery through highly specialised hand surgery centres, including as the Fellow at the St Luke’s and Sydney Hospital Hand Units and South Western Sydney Hand Centre. He holds formal qualifications in hand surgery through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Hand Surgery Society’s post-fellowship education and training program in hand surgery.
In addition to his orthopaedic appointments at Central Coast hospitals, Dr Bradshaw is a consultant hand and microsurgeon at a major Sydney metropolitan hand unit, where he performs major and complex reconstructive procedures for severe hand injuries.
Dr Bradshaw’s area of interest is hand and wrist surgery, including microsurgery and arthroscopy, with a focus on minimally-invasive techniques such as endoscopic carpal tunnel release surgery to potentiate rapid recovery after surgery. His comprehensive Central Coast practice also includes joint replacement, trauma and fracture management.
Dr Bradshaw is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association, Member of the Australian Medical Association, and Member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society. He is the Australian Orthopaedic Association Director of Training for the Central Coast.
