Clinical Trial Research Agreements (CTRAs)
Clinical trials in Australia mostly adopt the use of the Medicines Australia CTRA or Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) CIRA As a private hospital provider, there are certain terms in these standard format contracts that are difficult to apply in the private sector and, as a result, Ramsay utilises amended forms of the Medicines Australia CTRA and MTAA CIRA with the Principal Investigator included as a signatory to the contract.

Indemnity
All parties on the CTRA require a certificate of indemnity to be issued.
